DSA introduces Sunflower Lanyard Scheme

During the Walsall v Exeter City the DSA launched the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme for distribution to fans with hidden disabilities.

The Sunflower Lanyard scheme is nationally recognised by many organisations such as supermarkets, hospitals and public venues. If you have a disability that may not be immediately obvious but would appreciate support from staff at a growing number of places, wearing a Sunflower Lanyard is a discreet way to let others know that you may extra need help or support.

During these difficult times, wearing a lanyard may enable you to get any extra help you may need. If you or a person who has a hidden disability or an immediate family member or their carer and would like a Sunflower Lanyard, please send an email to walsallfcdsa@gmail.com. We will post all lanyards as soon as possible after your request is received.

Further information about the Sunflower Lanyards can be obtained via the following link.

If there is anything else that you think the DSA may be able to help you with, please send us an email.

Stay safe.
