Six Goal Thriller.

OTD (25th March) in 1989 saw an exciting game at Fellows Park between Walsall and Manchester City that ended 3-3 despite Saddlers being 2-0 up. New signing Andy Saville scored twice on his debut linking up well with Stuart Rimmer who was also on target in the first half. City came back in the second half and led 3-2 with goals from David Oldfield and Paul Moulden (2). Andy Saville levelled things with a header so Saddlers had to be satisfied with a point in a colourful game with many travelling City fans waving inflatable bananas in the away end.
